Inukshuk assembled from 7 pieces of Rhodonite, a softer stone that is unrelated to Jade. Rhodonite is found in various places around the world – these pieces however are mined in either BC or the Yukon. 3.5" height.
Inukshuks are an important national symbol of Canada, holding many meanings closely related to Inuit life. Whether it was used as a guide for hunting, mark where food was kept, or warn those from danger, the Inukshuk was a universal symbol, acting as an embodiment of a human.
