Jade Bear Unfinished Carving - 3.3kg

An unfinished carving of a bear, made from BC Jade form the Cassiar mine.  You can see the outline of the bear emerging from the stone and the rough marks left by the carving tools.  An interesting novelty piece, unlike our more typical Jade carvings that are completed and brought to a fine polish.  Keep it as is or use as a practice piece for your own carving or polishing attempts.

The carving measures approximately 15cm x 9cm x 11cm.
