Beautiful Canadian Nephrite Jade mala. This mala comes in two sizes 8mm and 10mm. The 10mm mala will measure approximately 42" in length, the 8mm mala will measure approximately 33" All of our Jade is 100% Natural. Malas are used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity. This sādhanā (practice) is known in Sanskrit as japa. Malas are typically made with 18, 27, 54 or 108 beads. In Tibetan Buddhism, malas of 108 beads are used.

The bead is very small, it is about 5mm-5.5mm, in my opinion, too expensive.
